Project Co-ordinator

An exciting opportunity has become available at Optimum Learning Technologies (Pty) Ltd, within our Delivery Team based at our Johannesburg Office.

The Project Co-ordinator will be responsible for among other things, the effective co-ordination and administration of short course, skills programmes and learnerships across various NQF levels.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate learner records - update data as needed to reflect changes in learner progress
• Capture and process assessments and results
• Follow up on outstanding assessments
• Prepare learner progress reports and communicate reports to stakeholders
• Maintain accurate filing systems
• Print & collate training material and related administrative documents for programme delivery
• Co-ordinate class schedules and prepare training venues
• Ensure travel and accommodation arrangements for facilitators and project team
• Ensure all communication to all stakeholders are clear and unambiguous

Job Requirements: 

• A tertiary qualification and/or previous work experience within an academic environment would be advantageous
• A valid driver’s license
• Highly systematic and organized
• Advanced MS word and MS Excel Skills
• Ability to work independently and use own initiative
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent co-ordination skills
• A strong sense of accountability
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• A strong work ethic
• Excellent communication(written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Effective problem solving ability
