Looking for a young, energetic sales rep to join the Kempston Family

REQUIREMENTS:

ESSENTIAL

Grade 12/Matric

Valid driver’s license

Minimum 2 years’ sales experience

Strong computer literacy in Excel, Word, Outlook

Fully Bilingual in English and Afrikaans

Ability to prepare basic business reports

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Prospecting for new business:

  • Identify & segment target markets
  • Planning of weekly and monthly call routes per area
  • Daily cold calls to prospective clients, setting up of appointments with new prospects
  • Setting daily sales activity goals
  • Fact finding and research on needs of prospective clients to ensure all information for quoting is detailed and accurate
  • Assist with preparing quotations and proposals for prospective clients
  • Persistent follow-up and closing of deals
  • Networking to establish the KES brand within the market place
  • Reporting to Branch Manager (Call reports, progress reports, etc.)

New Accounts Management:

  • Signing of required documentation (credit app and quote acceptance)
  • Account opening procedures strictly adhered to
  • Educate clients regarding time-sheets and payroll cut-off, order numbers, etc.
  • Advise Operations department regarding operational requirements of new clients

Basic with high commission structure
