 This newly created role  requires a well-experienced ADMINISTRATOR with SECRETARIAL EXPERTISE, who is responsible for supporting the Departmental Manager and the team, in terms of Diary Management, Travel and Meeting Arrangements, as well as dealing with petty cash, budgets, HR administration and other departmental administration.  If required there may be research and sourcing of information for members of the team, as well as presentations on Powerpoint when required.   This organisation deals with both local and international clients and therefore requires excellent command of English, sound computer skills on MSOffice, as well as strong organisational skills and ability to work without close supervision.    

Ideally this candidate will have been in a Secretarial role at Senior Management level for at least five years, have a secretarial Diploma and be looking for a busy position with a good level of variety of content.  A proven record of detailed administration, good written correspondence and ability to take accurate minutes of meetings, is essential.     Ideally you must be able to access Observatory readily.
