Advice For College Graduates

Your job is not always going to fulfill you. There will be some days that you just might be bored and other days you may not feel like going to work at all. This is normal, especially when you are still trying to figure out what and where you want to be in life. Go to work anyway and remember that your job is not who you are, it's just what you're doing on the way to who you will become.

Everybody, well at least those that have to work for what they want in life, starts out small. Every remedial chore, every boss who takes credit for your ideas that is going to happen, look for the lessons because the lessons are always there and the number one lesson you can learn where your work is concerned is that you should become so skilled, so vigilant, so  fantastic at what you do that your talent cannot be dismissed.

It doesn't matter how far you might rise, at some point you are bound to stumble.  At some point you will fail and when you do, remember that there is no such thing as failure.

“Failure is just life trying to move us in another direction.”

The biggest reward is not financial benefits. Although this certainly might seem like it at first and you certainly can get a lot of great shoes with some good money. Having great shoes and great cars and a huge house doesn't fill your life with substance. As you gain experience and exposure in the corporate world, you’ll slowly understand this. Find that avenue, that job that fuels your passion and gives you purpose every morning.
