Events Coordinator


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of two graphic design and event co-ordinators
  • Plan internal and external events schedule for the year according to the business and our manufacturers requirements
  • Plan events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and products and objectives
  • Identify event team per event and set out roles and responsibilities well in advance
  • Manage and delegate to events team and co-ordinate other staff required to successfully execute the events
  • Ensure that there is sufficient infrastructure available and the tasks assigned are completed as planned
  • Hold regular meetings for status reports to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
  • Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
  • Coordinate all operations including travel arrangements, transportation of demo stock and marketing material
  • Always keep track of target event attendees and flag issues to management team
  • Keep effective communication with other departments such as technical and sales regarding upcoming events and their involvement
