Fibre Tools - Sales Executive



Our client is an IT & ICT Solutions Service Provider

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Direct sales responsibility for acquiring customers on the Fiber Optic products and test tools to meet sales goals
  • Develop and follow a comprehensive time and territory management plan to effectively maximize coverage and efficiently manage expenses
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives
  • Grow and maintain potential prospect funnel by actively cold calling and attending networking events
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with existing and prospective business customers
  • Grow and maintain potential prospect funnel by actively cold calling and attending networking events
  • Knowledge of existing and future internet, broadband, telephone, and other communication technologies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Minimum Matric and Sales Training
  • Direct selling Experience in Exfo, Sumitomo, Fujikura, Fluke, Grandway, and other brands of fibre testing instruments is a must
  • Sales working experience at Lambda, Coral-I, Falcon Electronics, IC Logistix, AGE, Ci-tek, Miro, Scoop Distribution and other companies in the same industry is preferred
  • Working experience in selling SFPs, Media Convertor, Fusion Splicer and other fiber test tools to Vuma Tel, Neotel, Dark Fiber, Vodacom, Telkom, MTN, and other ISP is preferred
  • Good knowledge of fusion splicer, power meter, light source, fiber identifier, visual fault locator and etc.
  • Knowledge of current market pricing, product features and supply, and the positive ability to keep up with Technology and industry development
  • Good connection in fibre installation industry
  • Excellent persuasion and negotiation skills             
  • Excellent verbal and written skills            
  • Proficient in MS office suite          
  • Sales skills and technical knowledge    
  • Sound work ethic and record keeping
  • Time management skills
  • Own vehicle with valid driver license essential
