Competency in the following areas is required:
Supplier Evaluation – set up a framework for evaluating suppliers and then measure suppliers accordingly; both before initial appointment of suppliers as well as ongoing.
Visiting Supplier offices and Field Interviewers
Attending Industry workshops, conferences, and supplier meetings
Negotiation of Various Contracts
Collaboration with Suppliers for Agreeing Upon Policies and Services
Collaboration with suppliers and financial analysis of each supplier.
Monitoring and Evaluation of Contracts / Projects Adherence
Maintaining and Reviewing Records of Bought Items / equipment
Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in procurement, logistics or supply chain.
Own transport with valid driver's license.
1 - 3 years' experience in a similar role in the research industry.
