IS Support Coordinator: Java


Job description includes but not limited to: -

Provide 1st line operational support for in-house applications and systems

Monitor, log and close Helpdesk calls. Manage helpdesk queues in a quick and efficient manner ie. Attend to high priority calls first

Generate and monitor reports for internal billing on a monthly basis

Assist with administration and adhoc tasks

Document daily/monthly operational processes ie. Monitoring instructions, Contact details

Assist with testing of in-house applications

Deployment of all production and staging code

Monitor exceptions / errors on a daily basis

Final testing on production / staging

Minimum requirements


System administration experience

SQL development skills

Tertiary education or IT qualifications advantageous

Database knowledge in MY SQL, MS SQL, Oracle and Mongo

Basic syntax in C# and XML

knowledge of Java script and Ruby Script - Essential

Basic understanding of administering of  Linux and Window services in relation to

Setting up of websites, connection pools and installation of services

Excel Skills & Word Skills

Understanding rest calls and Json objects

3 years experience in telecommunications and ISP industry would be advantageous
