Financial Office Administrator/Bookkeeper

Job Description: 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric/Grade 12
  • Advanced skills in Excel and basic Word knowledge
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
  • Experience in PASTEL is preferred
  • Any financial qualification will be an advantage

The primary purposes of the position is as follows:

  • Mainly Capture & Balancing of "Day Sheet"
  • Maintain Customer Age Analysis
  • Filing of "Customers To Pay" daily
  • Monthly transfer of customer to pay to Customer Statement file
  • Customer Invoicing & Credit Notes
  • Customer Monthly Statement Recon & Email
  • Input Supplier Invoices & Returns
  • Maintain Supplier payment schedule
  • Supplier Purchase Orders
  • Recon of Supplier invoices with statement - particularly KERSTON
  • Filing & Maintaining Supplier invoices
  • Maintain Cash Books - Cash, PTY, & Credit Card
  • Daily Backup of Pastel onto flash
  • VAT Return & Payment Instruction
  • PAYE & UIF returns & payment instruction
  • Maintain General Ledger payments & relevant filing
  • Staff payroll
  • Maintain Staff Register
  • Manage leave schedule
  • Daily "cleaning out" of Admin & orders in Outlook
  • Year End procedure and reports
