New Business Sales Partner

Job Description: 

A distribution company based in the East of Johannesburg is looking for a passionate and target driven New Business Sales Partner.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

Educational requirements:

Matric

Relevant Degree/Diploma (preferably sales and marketing)

Experience:

Minimum of 4 years sales experience in Transport / Logistics Services

 

Some skills and attributes:

Strong communication skills

Presentation skills

Analytical skills

Strong consultative selling skills

Advanced understanding of Excel & PowerPoint

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Securing new clients that are a match to the company’s product profile and client profile
  • Develop and lead both short- and long-term strategies
  • Plan & execute approaches & pitches to clients
  • Meet and exceed targets set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department
  • Negotiate with the accounts as per price guidelines given, looking to maximize profits.
  • Work closely with Operations to implement new clients successfully, adhering to SOP, SLA, KPI and RFQ requirements
