A vacancy has arisen for a Patient Services Clerk
CRITERIA:

Matric
Strong customer service skills,
Excellent, service oriented patient communication skills
Accurate data input
Problem-solving skills.
Full MS Office Suite competency,
Quick and efficient typing skills
Superior interpersonal skills and strong ability to effectively multitask
3 to 5 years patient service experience

DUTIES:
Compassionately and efficiently interact with patients, clinicians and staff members.
Smoothly prioritize tasks while juggling multiple duties
Coordinate schedules for operating theatres and treatment rooms, and address nursing and staffing needs.
Greet patients and visitors as they arrive at he ward, receive their information, input data and escort patients and family members to their assigned room
Manage patient records verifying that all forms paperwork lab work and referrals are accurately and properly documented.
Communicate with physicians and families on patient's status's
Coordinate receipt of medical records and schedule patients
Liaise with Medical Aids regarding coverage, verification for various procedures and obtaining pre authorisation and authorisation numbers.

Salary Offered :

R20000 plus Benefits plus Bonus
