My client in the Retail sector is expanding their national footprint within South Africa.
Minimum Experience / Skills and Knowledge:
Management and supervisory roll for more than 3 years.
Retail experience .
Setting and reviewing budgets and managing costs.
Recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff.
Managing sales performance levels.
Basic knowledge and understanding of Human Resources and Industrial relation.
Strong Computer literacy skills.
Possess a thorough understanding of stock management and Control.
Good understanding of Financial acumen:
Income and expenditure
Cost of Sales
Maximising profitability by executing retail strategy within a retail store, and setting/meeting sales targets, including motivating staff.
Must be ambitious and energetic and be prepared to work retail hours
Strong problem-solving skills due to the fast-moving environment and complexities of the business
Need to be able to lead, manage and drive a team of 10 to 15 staff members
Attention to detail and the ability to execute highest retail standards in your store, in order to comply with the franchise requirements
Effective communication, ensuring that stake holders are informed of all important issues
Strong leadership and management skills
Responsible for the entire administration function ensuring compliance on all levels
