Job Purpose: To provide quality specialist and appropriate legal input and involvement in a project management environment as required, thereby supporting an effective Multidisciplinary Approach (“MDA”) to all assignments
Duties (but not limited to):
Deliver on projects requiring specialist legal and related input.
Providing Quality Assurance for legal specialist input.
Guidance to and mentoring specialists.
Assist with the delivery of quality training to legal specialists (aligned to competencies outlined in the profiles and the relevant competency frameworks, specialist skills, MDA integration, quality standards and framework and relevant law).
Co-ordination, oversight and development of the legal specialist competency
Tertiary education in legal specialist field.
Qualifications relevant to forensic investigations and/or project management (advantage).
Admission as an attorney/advocate
Minimum 8 years post-graduate applicable legal experience.
Minimum 2 years relevant forensic investigation experience or relevant specialist legal experience.
Substantial knowledge of legislative standards.
Substantial knowledge of the industry (investigations).
Substantial knowledge of relevant legal fields that enable the legal representative to carry out the activities outlined in the key performance areas and relevant competency framework.
Knowledge of public sector legal environment.
