Account Manager


An opportunity exists for a Promotion Products Account Manager. This role will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, with specific reference to promotional products within one of Alligator’s biggest, existing clients.

The successful incumbent to this position will be responsible for:

• Managing the sales orders and relationships with existing clients in relation to their promotional product needs.
• Identify new sales opportunities within existing key accounts with the view of generating new business opportunities.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
• Escalating and resolving areas of concern as raised by clients.
• Cross collaboration with the other departments to ensure requirements of the client’s brief are met.

Job Requirements: 

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role or environment
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills in a target driven environment and ability to liaise on all levels.
• Computer literacy – Excel (Intermediate to Advanced level), Word, Outlook, PowerPoint (Basic) Internet Explorer (Ability to use search engines and be internet savvy)
• Code B Driver’s license
• Experience working in an environment focusing on promotional products and corporate gifts will be advantageous

• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure and ability to work extra hours when operationally required

• Strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and a team-oriented approach
