The successful candidate will report directly to the Assistant Director of Finance and should have a proven record in providing excellent service with a warm & positive attitude.

Required Experience & Qualifications

* 3 year Tertiary qualification required
* At least 2 years' accounts experience in a supervisory / managerial position, previous hotel experience advantageous
* Good knowledge of accounting principles
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* The ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines
* Computer literacy

Key Responsibilities

* Complete all daily duties as set out in departmental duties and requirements.
* Assisting the Positions of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Income Audit, General Cashier and Finance Assistant where help/training and mentoring is needed and supervising their work to be reconciled for review by ADOF/DOF
* Implementation and monitoring of Hotel Policies and Procedures
* Assist ADOF /DOF in ALL functions in the performance of their work/responsibilities of their work as and when required
* Stand in for the ADOF position when he /she is not at work and the ability to perform all the ADOF functions
* Update cashbook daily
* Tip recons for F&B, and Spa to be split and sent to Payroll
* Prepare invoices for coding
* Review hotel and other International payments and remittances and send on time
* Assist in perform all Month end functions and Journals
* Preparation of monthly financial pack for owners meeting to be reviewed by DOF
* Monitor and adjust all house accounts on Opera
* Stock spot checks and capturing spot checks
* Update forecast and budget figures for Revenue report
* Save department GL detail, P&L summaries and full Income Statement
* Balance Sheet recons
* Compile variance report for HPF pack
* Budgeting and Forecasting
* Email Spa Manager for number of treatments sold at month end
* Any other request from time to time as determined by operational /financial requirements.
