Claims Consultant - Short Term Insurance

Claims Consultant with minimum 3 years’ Personal Lines AND Commercial Claims experience in the short term insurance industry, required to start asap.

Minimum requirements:
• Grade 12 essential
• NQF4 Full short term insurance qualification
• RE5 essential
• Minimum 3-5 years’ claims handling experience – PL & Commercial essential
• DOFA confirmation from FSB
• Ski/Genasys experience advantageous

Responsibilities:
• Full claims function – PL & Commercial
• Register claims and appoint assessors
• Manage claims ito claims SLA
• Decision making re merit – indemnify or not
• Negotiate settlement
• Manage salvage process
• Detection of fraud and management of fraudulent indicators
• Keep operational system updated
• Provide feedback to all stakeholders
• Complaints resolution
