Clothing Factory Supervisor

We are looking to hire an experienced Clothing Factory Floor Supervisor to assist our Factory Manager with her duties.
This includes supervising factory workers to ensure that factory targets and deadlines are met.
The Factory Supervisor’s responsibilities include assisting with work planning and arranging lines and equipment maintenance as needed, regularly walking the factory floor and being active and visible on the factory floor to monitor the performance of factory staff, and ensuring that all production orders are completed in a timely manner.
You should also be able to enforce compliance with health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. Mainly it is to assist the Factory Manager with achieving her duties and goals.

To be successful as a Factory Manager, you should demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills and be able to anticipate and resolve any issues that may derail production.
A Factory Supervisor should have exceptional communication, management, and leadership skills to ensure that factory operations run smoothly.

Assisting with screening, recruiting, and training new factory workers.
Collaborating with quality control to ensure quality control standards are maintained.
Ensuring that factory machinery is in good working order.
Regularly inspecting finished products to determine whether they meet established quality standards.
Motivating factory workers to continually achieve factory targets.
Monitoring and reporting any production bottlenecks on the floor.
Assisting with Raw Material Planning for the factory.
Aiding the Factory Manager to achieve his/her goals and duties.

Job Requirements: 

Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a clothing factory.
Essential is understanding of garment construction and industrial sewing machine use.
Preferable experience with Quality Control in the garment industry.
Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
The ability to multitask and switch projects quickly if so required.
Outstanding time management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong management and leadership skills.
Effective communication skills.
A factory Supervisor must not be afraid to speak up or address problems with production or under performing staff. This position is not for a soft-spoken person but for someone who is assertive and is a strong leader.
