Credit and Collections Manager

A financial services company based in Cape Town seeks to appoint an experience Credit & Collections Manager. The incumbent will manage a Team of Credit controllers. Previous management experience in a similar role is a must

Minimum of 3 years' management experience gained in a Credit and Collections environment.
- Minimum of 3 years' managing others
- Understanding of the Credit & Risk environment

Ensuring that credit controllers adhere to the contents and procedures contained in the Best Practice standards document.
- Ensure that the staff compliment is maintained at optimal operational levels to service our customer/clients.
- Take accountability for costumer/client service delivery through efforts of others and personal visits to clients.
- Training of staff members on our system and where applicable, take ownership for up-skilling team members to the required levels.
- Manage team performance, plan and assign work to the team, create a climate for optimal performance.
- Balance own priorities while directing and motivating others.
- Directly resolve complains with clients and action appropriately
