Executive Chef for a luxury hospitality property based in Northern KZN. This position is seeking a strong leader, who has the ability to multi task and produce, fresh delicious meals for the guests on a daily basis. START ASAP.
Formal Chef qualification & at least 3 years experience as an Executive / Head Chef at luxury lodges and/or hotels
Excellent interpersonal skills. Besides communicating with colleagues, HOD’s and staff you will also interact daily with guests
Strong staff management skills : supervision, training, implementing set standards and IR
Good organisational skills Initiative, honesty and integrity bulder, proactive
Used to working to set high menu standards of food production and presentation (7-day Menu set)
A keen sense of urgency to deliver food for game drives as well as at lodge
Cuisine experience: fine dining, buffets/dinner/breakfasts, creative Bush banqueting, special dietary needs
Good stock controls and stock rotation
Prepared to go the extra mile and live in a remote bush location
