Field Technician

Service Line: Supercare (Pretoria)

Reporting To: Stores Manager

Role : Field Technicians

Employment Contract: Perm

Supercare Services is currently seeking a flexible, trade qualified Technician to support the Supercare Maintenance teams at various sites.

Main purpose of the job

Reporting to the Stores Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting company operations by maintaining & updating Client servicing.

Education and experience required:

* Matric
* NQF Level 3 is advantageous
* Drivers Licences is essential
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in the similar role

Knowledge Skills and Competencies required:

* Communicate effectively in the workplace
* Must maintain dignity and respect to co-workers and clients
* Awareness of latest technological standards in the field Facilities Maintenance
* Good knowledge of facilities environment
* Good knowledge and working practice of Safety & Health Regulations, Permits, JSA's and Procedures
* Ability to understand and be familiar with general Maintenance work flow processes, procedures and systems
* Model high standards of performance and behaviour
* Provide high standards service to colleagues and customers

Key areas of responsibilities:

* Complete Tasks of operation as per the Road show schedule.
* Receive stock from stores supplied by Road show customer summary.
* All proof of deliveries (pod's) for 'J' to be handed in by end of business daily.
* Service slips to be handed in to the Help desk coordinator by end of business daily.
* Report all contractual problems to the helpdesk coordinator and on service report slips.
* Complete vehicle check lists.
* Complete tool check list.
* Complete Risk assessments and SOP's daily at every contract before service is started.
* Conduct vehicle hygiene 'keep clean'.
* Males: Servicing of dispensers in men's facilities & where a ladder is required.
* Ladies: Servicing of reachable dispensers & Sani bins in female facilities.
* Installation & upliftment of required contracts. ( Installation team)
* Vehicle tidiness: Always neat and clean, services keeping up to date etc.
* Only nominated technicians are allowed to drive company vehicles, except with authorization from management & relevant paper work being completed.
* Stock from previous day's work must be handed in at stores with the relevant return stock sheet completed.
* Uniforms supplied and nametags must be worn during working times.
* Follow Roadshow routing as per trip sheet.
* Report all quantity discrepancies to the helpdesk coordinator.

TIMEFRAME OF SCOPE COMPLETION
