Duties & Responsibilities
Oversees and executes the general accounting function, which include debtors and creditors, cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting, statutory submissions, balance sheet management, payroll
Performing financial analysis, financial modelling, profitability analysis, financial forecasting and risk analysis, return on investment/discounted cash flow analysis, sponsor accounting
Compiling, analyzing and presenting of business plans, reports, management accounts and financial statements
Coordinates work relating to both internal and external audits in the periodic review of the company financial records
Guides and trains accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
Develop and report business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Review and recommends financial actions, financial standard setting, modifications to accounting systems and procedures

Preferably CIMA but CPA or CA(SA) will also be considered
Consolidation / Group Accounting experience is required
Minimum 5 years Financial Management experience
Payroll and Tax experience will be advantageous
Software experience in SG1, Pastel Evolution, VIP
