Planning and managing logistics, freight, transportation and customer services
Coordination and document control of the freight forwarding process for Sea exports
Ensure seamless communication with Key Accounts Manager and Operations Manager relative to customer requirements
Manage all stakeholders involved to ensure timeous deliveries to all obligations
Handle customer queries
Managing Logistics documents
Liaising with shipping lines for bulk and containers
Qualifications & Requirements:
B-Tech / Degree in Logistics Management or Maritime or equivalent
3-5 years Export experience
Working knowledge of Cargowise and/or Compuclear
Extensive freight logistics management experience (road, sea and air - with emphasis on sea-freight) with logistics broker or commodities trader.
Extensive experience in managing bulk cargo and shipping containers.
Solid experience in logistics document management (e.g. import, export, waybills, financial instruments, etc.).
Solid project management experience in logistics management.
Knowledge of all modes of transport regulations, compliance standards and INCOTERMS.
