General Manager

Directs, manages, and optimizes the overall operations of the production facilities and business.
Sets policies and makes decisions guiding productivity, quality, and cost efficiency of factory operations.
Establish systems to collect metrics, analyze productivity and set performance targets that will meet revenue and cost goals.
Leads the development and deployment of production practices focused on quality and continuous improvement.
Ensures robust factory safety and security procedures and training are in place and that operations follow all required regulations.
Leads any labour relations activities involving the factory. Directs factory level support functions including finance, engineering, materials, quality assurance, and human resources to ensure alignment with overall factory operations.

Job Requirements: 

Advanced IT Competence – Word; Excel; Power Point; Internet; Email.
Grade 12- and 10-years Production/Manufacturing Management experience.
Professional Management or Technical qualification preferable.
Production planning and goal setting.
Management of staff.
Health and Safety Knowledge.
Production Management.
Customer Service.
Production quality control procedures.
Production Risk Management.
Production financial management.
Maintenance of production equipment.
Production budgets and forecast project expenditure and cash flow needs.
Able to work independently
