Academic Module Guide Moderator

POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
• Module Guide Moderator – Fourth Industrial Revolution influences on Mathematics Education

PURPOSE OF THIS MODULE:
4IR revolutionises Mathematics Education toward digitisation. The purpose of this module is to centre Mathematics Education in keeping with the worldwide trends of expanding the use of technology to improve teaching and learning in Mathematics education.

CORE PURPOSE:
To moderate content for a Module Guide based on a specific set of outcomes as per the requirements provided by MANCOSA.

CORE FUNCTIONS:
• To moderate content for a Module Guide as per requirements provided
• Moderate the requisite number of assessments with the relevant rubrics as per guidelines provided by the Assessments Department

Job Requirements: 

QUALIFICATION(S):
A relevant Doctorate level qualification (a relevant Masters level qualification will also be considered based on level of experience with Module Guide Moderation)

EXPERIENCE:
• 3-5 years Academic experience
• Module Guide Moderation experience

RELATED KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
• Have a working knowledge of the South African Higher Education Regulatory Framework
• Must be able to work within pre-determined time frames and deadlines
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Must be able to demonstrate professionalism in moderating content within the module guide
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Internet and Email)
• Possess a high level of ethics
• Knowledge of Blooms Taxonomy verbs and SAQA Level descriptors
