Monitor Manager

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentations, plans and procedures.
• Planning and designing the program and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
• Analyzing technical problems, evaluating alternative solutions and developing effective recommendations.
• Preparing clear and concise technical, scientific reports, correspondence and other written materials and data validation.
• Managing the development, implementation and maintenance of effective programs, such as compliance and enforcement operations, within programme activities.
• Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the program - focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the program, and outwardly on its coherence with infrastructure planning, interfaces with other programs and corporate, technical and specialist standards
• Managing the program's budget on behalf of company, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realized benefits as the program progresses
• Develop monitoring plans, field and data quality check lists

Job Requirements: 

• Masters of Business Administration Degree in Human Resources/Policy and Development/ or equivalent relevant to Education Training and Development field qualification.
• A minimum of 5 –10 years experience in the training and development environment.
• A strategic thinker who can lead a team to successfully reach the objectives for the company
• Experience in Skills Development and/or technical environment will be an added advantage but not a must.
• Good planning and organising skills.
• A person with excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good interpersonal skills and capability to interact with people at all levels.
• Demonstrated Leadership abilities and adaptability to work under pressure.
• Good problem solving abilities and capability to make good judgement.
• Interpretation and application of applicable legislation and regulations, especially Skills Development Act, BBBEE, as well as relevant SETA regulations.
• Experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders including various SETAs, Training Providers etc.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Internet).
• Experience facilitation and moderation
• Running a big project successfully
• Administer and maintain data accuracy of all learner information, administrative inputs and pay inputs into projects reporting.
• Initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the program are identified or issues arise
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
The Monitoring Manager must have strong practical experience in project management, which was gained through managing large and complex projects. He or she must have the following:
• Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques;
• Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program;
• Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management;
• Strong leadership and management skills;
• Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures; and
• The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
