Payroll Administrator

This 5 * property is looking for a payroll administrator to join their team

Provide day-to-day HR support in relation to all HR Payroll Processes, HR

administration and Employee Benefits, to ensure the smooth functioning of the HR

department in accordance with the Hotels Policies and

Procedures.

Required experience and qualifications

_ Human Resources / Hotel Management Qualification essential

_ Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar position and environment

_ VIP Premier Payroll experience essential

_ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft packages essential

_ Experience with a staff compliment of +- 600 - advantageous

Key

Responsibilities

Admin / General:

_ Administer employee files

_ Filing and maintaining all Employee Files

_ Compile & Input Information for monthly HR Reports.

_ Maintain Marriott systems

_ Quarterly submission of Stats SA

_ Co-ordinate Employee Incentive Share Scheme

_ Ad hoc HR requests / projects as required

Manage Employee Benefits:

Medical Aid

_ Ensure all current & new employees are registered on medical aid

_ Ensure correct contribution is paid according to company policy

_ Escalate all billing related medical aid queries

_ Assist with Hotel Wellness Day

Provident Fund

_ Ensure all current & new employees are registered on provident fund

_ Ensure correct contribution is paid according to company policy

_ Provide benefit updates to employees

_ Liaise with Fund Administrators regarding billing schedules

VIP Payroll:

_ Load new starters & terminate employees

_ Capture employees leave

_ Update personal information, change status, statutory details

_ Assist staff with any payroll queries

_ Distribute IRP5's

_ UI-19 & UI-2.7 Forms - Maternity Leave, Illness Benefit & Unemployment

Benefit

_ Distribute leave balances to Managers as and when requested

_ Confirmation of Employment

_ Complete all daily duties as set out in departmental duties and requirements.

Industrial Relations:

_ Capture all disciplinary warnings onto the VIP system.

_ Collate a monthly IR report with reference to all disciplinary warnings.
