This is a position for an individual with experience in finance and administration and an extraordinary drive and passion, with the purpose of managing payroll for employees and ensuring a proper flow and maintenance of employee data.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the preparation and processing of payroll for employees
Must handle the administration of the electronic timekeeping system where applicable.
Must maintain employee records
Review employee changes for proper authorization
Professional skills and Personal Attributes:
Excellent computer skills using MS Word, Excel, Access, and Internet Explorer
Strong skills when using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll accounting system.
Excellent problem solving and high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
Degree in Business Administration/Finance is required and an Accounting or HR Degree is preferred.
Three years in a Payroll Office performing all payroll functions as well as experience in Finance and Administration.
