Postgrad Co-Ordinator - BEd Hons in Education

The Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA), a DHET registered and CHE accredited private higher education distance education provider, offering undergraduate and postgraduate business qualifications, has the following vacancy available.

TEACHER EDUCATION: POSTGRAD CO-ORDINATOR: BEd HONS IN EDUCATION- DURBAN

CORE PURPOSE
• Initiate and be responsible for the planning and implementation of the BEd Hons in Education programme.
• Develop, plan and roll out programmes in all regions
• Assume responsibility for the professional quality of the postgraduate programme
• Manage QA and risk management
• Lecture on the programme

CORE FUNCTIONS INCLUDE
Core Functions
• Development of academic QMS in terms of templates, processes, for monitoring, evaluations and reporting on progress and supervision of postgraduate students.
• Overseeing overall student performance of the programme to ensure that graduates acquire the necessary skills, guidance and perseverance required for completion of course work and thesis.
• Initiate and develop Education related research

Minimum Requirements:
• A Doctorate in Education Management and Leadership or show evidence of nearing PHd studies completion.
• At least 8 years of experience in Teacher Education
• A minimum of 10 years teaching experience in the schooling sector.

Additional Recommendations:
• Experience in partnerships and collaboration with externals stakeholders
• Distance learning experience in assessments (Online)
