Procurement and Logistics Senior Coordinator

The Procurement and Logistics Senior Coordinator will be responsible for among other things, the effective coordination and administration of all project related activities for the Procurement and Logistics Division nationally.

• Order all training material for respective intakes
• Confirm training arrangements with candidates and lecturer
• Prepare all deliverables for training interventions – venue, travel, administration, facilitator bookings
• Ensure online sessions are booked and all parties are invited to sessions
• Ensure online sessions are equipped and follow up on any connectivity issues
• Co-pilot online sessions and follow up on learner questions
• Maintain electronic and hard copy filing
• Process all assessments, report results and certification
• Compile monthly reports to key stakeholders
• Ensure learners are registered with professional bodies and maintain membership information
• Book all exam sessions / purchase examination credits with professional bodies
• Track exam credits purchased for APICS and follow up on credits that are about to expire
• Distribute SAPICS certificates
• Manage examination sessions for CIPS exam centre, book invigilators for all exams
• Maintain Procurement & Logistics portal

Job Requirements: 

• A tertiary qualification and/or previous work experience within a procurement and logistics training and development environment would be advantageous
• A valid driver’s license
• Ability to work independently and use own initiative
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• A strong sense of accountability and work ethic
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
