My Client is looking for an experienced Programme Manager with extensive experince in Software Project Rollouts

JOB OVERVIEW:
Program Manager will direct the delivery of programs through active sponsorship, leadership and involvement in specific / key projects to ensure they meet time, cost and quality requirements. Provide and enforce effective methodologies for the overall management, coordination and direction of teams to deliver projects according to agreed project scope, budget and timelines. This includes enforcement of and adherence to the PMO governance, principles, standards and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support Project Delivery Director by delivering the committed portfolio of IT projects on time, to scope and within budget, within the agreed constraints,
reporting deviations and resolving conflicts timeously where possible
• Assuring governance and quality of the program including adoption of PMO methodologies, principles, standards and processes within the relevant program
• Focus areas include
• Shape and support business case development
• Support benefits realisation by supporting the Business Partners to integrate project output into business operations
• Project and program planning
• Influence and evaluate success criteria
• Organisation and governance structures
• Monitoring and controlling
• Risk and issue management
• Accurate and timeous program status reporting
• Resource management (with Demand Planner) to plan future IT resource requirements with third-party suppliers
• Stakeholder management through effective project governance
• Serve as point of escalation for Project Manager, assist in mitigating delays and removing obstacles
• Close alignment with Project Sponsor (and other steering committee members) to manage expectations
• Lead, develop, monitor and manage the project delivery stream, creating a culture of high performance, continuous optimisation and cost effectiveness and
manage team performance
• Conduct program evaluations retrospectively to ensure a culture of continuous improvement is embedded and knowledge transfer is achieved

Job Requirements: 

KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES
• Excellent strategic and tactical planning capabilities - proven experience in program management and project management
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills - to keep all players co-ordinated on project delivery and achieving business benefits
• Financial acumen - to support business case development and budget control
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects - be able to prioritise and engage key stakeholders across projects during tight delivery timeframes

EXPERIENCE
• 10+ years of program and project management experience delivering across large organisations
• Relevant Degree
• Project management qualifications - PMBOK / Prince 2 or equivalent
