Boston City Campus & Business College: 1) Programme Manager: Higher Certificate in Emergency Medical Care
Programme Leadership: liaise with the HPCSA PBEC on professional requirements for the curriculum; marketing and recruitment for the programme; oversight of workplace mentors/supervisors.
Programme Coordination: overseeing and coordinating curriculum; maintain integrity of the programme in compliance with PBEC requirements; coordinate and monitor online teaching requirements; ensure
requirements for Clinical Practice are met and maintain MoU with service providers; general academic oversight.
Quality Assurance and Administration: implementation and oversight of all quality assurance processes and policies, including programme review, student surveys, stakeholder engagement, etc.
Staff Development: liaise with the Academic Head on matters related to staffing and development.
Minimum Applicant Requirements:
Applicants are required to have a minimum of a BTech in Emergency Medical Care, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Medical Care, or equivalent.
A minimum of 5 years of higher education teaching experience. Experience in the distance mode of delivery is an advantage.
Professional registration with the HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa) PBEC (Professional Board for Emergency Care).
Experience in overseeing or leading a higher education programme.
