Project Administrator

The Project Administrator Position exists at an Advisory Services Company based in Secunda. This position is a Fixed Term Contract valid for 6 months with an option to renew.
PURPOSE OF JOB:
The primary responsibility of the Project Administrator is to provide support on projects ensure that all projects runs smoothly and office administrative duties are carried out efficiently
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Dealing with telephone and email enquiries
• Creating and maintaining filing systems
• Managing the Project Leader, and other team member’s diaries
• Arranging meetings and appointments
• Book venues for training and ensure that participants are informed
• Attending meetings, taking minutes and keeping notes;
• Ordering and maintaining stationery and equipment
• Arrange bookings for all travel and accommodation for the projects and maintain and score a supplier database
• Maintaining a database of the entrepreneurs and training providers
• Assisting the entrepreneurs in acquiring quotations for their needs
• Typing and preparation of profiles for the entrepreneurs
• Maintain a media file of all media exposure the project gets
Community and business contact and planning liaison
• Conducting site visits on an ad hoc basis
• Driving and facilitating communication campaigns
• Developing and maintaining customer and knowledge databases
• Conduct research
• Monitor and evaluate programmes
• Provide accurate and timely reports
• Perform other related duties as required

Job Requirements: 

Relevant Experience:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience in small business development space would be advantageous
• Experience with project management practices and tools to create, manage, and track project status would be an advantage
Educational Background:
• Business or Project Administration Certificate/Diploma an advantage
• Project Management qualification will add as an advantage
Additional Requirements
• Valid Code 08 or 10 drivers licence, own transport advantageous
• Fluent English speaking and writing and a local language
