Project Management and HR Lecturer (Roodepoort)

A leading tertiary education provider currently holds a position for a Project Management & Human Resource Management lecturer at our campus in Roodepoort, Gauteng.

CORE FUNCTIONS:
• To facilitate lectures and workshops on different educational levels
• Consult with students and liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
• Set both formative and summative assessments
• Serve as a moderator for relevant modules on the programme
• Moderate newly developed modules
• Grade assessments and moderate assessments
• Provide support to the Faculty Head
• Engage in programme and module reviews per semester
• Produce publications, research articles and case studies
• Identify at-risk students and develop student support strategies
• Complete administrative tasks and ad hoc duties
• Develop innovative and creative ways in teaching and learning

Job Requirements: 

QUALIFICATION (S):
• A relevant Project management (NQF6) or Human resource management (NQF6) qualification

EXPERIENCE:
• At least 3 years’ experience in the relevant fields is required
• Lecturing experience of at least 2 years will be a recommendation
• It is recommended that you will have assessment and moderation experience
• Relevant research experience will be an advantage

• Must be able to speak confidently and demonstrate professionalism
• Must be a collegial team player
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Internet and Email)
• Excellent writing and reporting skills
• Possess a high level of ethics and confidentiality
