POSITION OUTPUTS:

The incumbent will inter alia be responsible for the following:
EMPLOYMENT EQUITY:
Visiting existing and new clients
Evaluating compliance
Advise on implementation processes, including
- Awareness sessions
- Arranging training for committee
- Conduct desktop audit and meeting with client to evaluate employment practices in terms of identifying any barriers
- Advise clients on EEA requirements, including Regulations and Codes of Good Practice
- Monitor and evaluate EEA implementation with client
Advise client on legal requirements in terms of
- Annual reporting
- Draft and review of Employment Equity Plans and related policies
- Assist client with setup of Committees and Monthly meetings
Gather all EE information from clients
Annual Reporting – submission and related consulting
Assist with EE audits as required.
SKILLS DEVELOPMENT:
- Understanding of legislation
- Knowledge and experience in skills reporting (Workplace Skills Plan; Annual Training Report)
- Knowledge and experience in implementation of EE
- Meet and Contact clients on a monthly basis Gather WSP and ATR information
- Complete and submit WSP and ATR reports for each client
- Apply for discretionary funding as per client’s requests
- Provide mandatory grant recons for clients
- Keep client files up to date
- Follow up on all discretionary grant requirements and payments.
- Draft client proposals and Service Level agreements for approval by Director
Learnership Business Performance and Operations Assist with SETA Accreditation Management:
Update, monitor and report on compliance with Pendula QMS;
Tracking and filing of required site visit documentation;
Requesting Site Visits and tracking new accreditation letters; monitor and report on accreditation expiry/renewal dates for various programmes and apply for extension 3 months prior to expiry;
Apply for extension of scope, monitor & follow up on progress. Build relations with all relevant Seta's to ensure smooth accreditation processes.
Keeping abreast with any SETA developments that may affect re-accreditation prospects.
Attend Seta workshops/seminars and keep abreast with Seta's special projects and plans.
Back office operations: Assist with Upload and registration of learners at the start of programme and on completion;
Arranging Assessments & Internal Moderation, tracking and reporting on progress;
Providing learners with feedback on assessment;
Assist with the Preparation for and monitoring external verification

Learnership Compliance, Governance and Assurance Assist with Management of Learnerships and Skills Programme Training:
Order Printed Manuals as required for training scheduled;
Quality check manuals prior to releasing them to facilitators;
Coordinate & schedule Trainers;
Tracking and reporting on POE submissions; Reporting learner progress to clients

Customer and Client Relationship Management Regular client visits to discuss and obtain information in relation to Employment Equity and Skills Development
Manage internal and external relations, including interface with
service providers, clients, members and applicable BUs, as well as other functions responsible to ensure that business needs are met and employees are satisfied
Provide relevant and specialised support to applicable stakeholders
Establish and maintain relations with stakeholders to ensure optimal
efficiency.
Functional Excellence • fulfil all functions as outlined above
Adhere to functional policies, standards, guidelines, procedures, end-
to-end processes, tools, templates etc.
• Assist in standardising, simplifying and speeding-up of functional
processes and eliminate duplication/ bureaucracy
• Apply functional best practices and promote sharing of best
practices/knowledge
• Assist in the execution of functional excellence initiatives.
Functional Management • Governance: Ensure the function adheres to Company governance,
policies, standards, statutory and legal compliance. Entrench a culture
of discipline.
People Management • Performance management: Adhere to performance management procedures
