Salary Clerk

Input of employment data onto computerized payroll system (new engagements, terminations, leave applications, etc.)

Attend to employee queries from branch level and divisional offices with regards to employment information

Monitor payroll outputs

Job Requirements: 

Senior Certificate (grade 12)

Payroll certificate / qualification would be advantageous

5 years Payroll experience

Strong Knowledge of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and required Legislations

Computerized payroll system(s) experience

Competencies (Knowledge/Skills):

- Computer Literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

- Payroll software capturing systems / programs knowledge

- Good organizational and communication skills

- Methodical, attention to detail and the ability to work in a high pressurised and deadline oriented environment
