Sales Intern

To learn and develop sales skills and knowledge in the discipline of selling software and service-based solutions into the manufacturing industry, by working in a well-managed team of experienced Enterprise sales reps, Onshape sales reps and Pre-sales technical application engineers.
The Intern will spend about ¼ of their time in theoretical learning, ¼ in practical exercises related to this and ½ of their time on the job supporting other Sales Professionals.

The Internship at productONE will allow the intern to be exposed to industry-leading technologies in the fields of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Computer-Aided Design (CAD), the Internet of Things (IoT) and Augmented Reality (AR). We are seeking two energetic, self-motivated, responsible interns to join our organization.
A successful Intern will be in a prime position to apply for a permanent position at productONE should such a position become available.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Management
Supporting the Account Manager in tasks related to Account Management including;
• • Ensuring timeous renewal of support maintenance.
• • Establish and maintain customer relationships in a professional and corporate manner thereby ensuring that the P1 brand image is enhanced in the industry.
• • Manage all customer inquiries through phone calls and emails.
• • Manage all customer issues and resolve all complaints effectively.
• • Winning back lost customers and rebuilding the relationship thereof.
Sales
Supporting Account Managers in tasks related to Sales as well as conducting some of their own sales.
• • Sell software to new small businesses.
• • Identify and generate new opportunities with existing customers.
• • Assisting with lead generation and target lists
Administration
• • Logging customer Activities and Opportunities.
• • Provide reports at the frequency and at the required level as may be agreed and requested from time to time.
Adhoc
• • In conjunction with Marketing Department, carry out and drive marketing and sales campaigns.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualification – Min NQF level 5 in the fields of:
Field 03 – Business Commerce & Management Studies
Field 06 – Manufacturing, engineering and Technology
Field 10 – Physical, Maths, Computer & Life Sciences
2. Demonstrated passion for and interest in Sales.
3. Must be fluent in English with excellent communication skills (written & verbal, including telephone skills) and the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
4. Computer literate.

• • Ability to make own travel arrangements for business as and when required.
