JOB SPECIFICATION

Position is BEE / EE Bonded
Primary Purpose
To further and build the company’s footprint / client base / manpower and sales capability throughout the Western Cape. Must be highly motivated and target driven.
Main Responsibilities / KPA’S
Sales
 Maintain, service , develop and increase database of in the Western Cape
 Business development of new clients – would include managing distributor relationships and agents
 Assist in developing and creating an industry knowledge base
 Manage and interpret client requirements
 Represent the company at relevant trade exhibitions
 Responsible for Technical Presentations to clients
 Provide pre-sales technical assistance to clients
 Providing after sales services to new and existing clients
 Cultivate spares sales with new and existing customers
 Building relationships with existing clients
 Weekly sales report
 Management of Branch Sales Budget
 Train and employ Sales Staff as required
 Sales presentations and monthly reporting to senior management
Technical
 Commissioning of new equipment when required
 Minor repairs on existing equipment where possible
 Ongoing assessment of existing machines and report back to customer
 Quotations according to the set standard to potential and existing clients
Financial/Budget
 Sales Targets
 Sales Budgets
 Additional Budgets as prescribed by Senior Management
Internal Processes/Policies And Procedures
 Adhere to all process, policies and procedures in line with ISO requirements Adhere to all processes, policies and procedures relevant to the company and your department
 Detailed knowledge of processes, policies and procedures.
 Follow-through and complete all corrective actions relating to processes, policies and procedures
Problem Solving
 100% of all problems to be resolved effectively, pushing upwards every 24 hours, if required to reach resolution
 Always present solutions rather than problems
 Implement preventative action to ensure a problem does not occur again
 Obtain information from other parties by being resourceful to assist in answering a problem before asking your manager
Reporting
 Compilation of all ad-hoc reports as requested
 Compilation of all daily, weekly and monthly statistical information relating to the ambit of your job profile
