 Being a private FET college we require a competent person to liaise with workplaces and our learners for the experiential phase of their workplace.
Source workplaces where unemployed learners on various training projects need to be placed and where this is IETI’s direct or indirect responsibility.
 Conduct monitoring visits on a regular basis of learners at workplaces, by visiting the respective sites and ensuring that they are receiving adequate workplace exposure against the outcomes of the relevant qualifications.
 Create a weekly and monthly schedule outlining the site visits and the details thereof, and present this to your Line Manager for pre approval.
 Source additional workplaces where learners have left the sites for whatsoever reason and ensuring that an investigation of the reasons for the learners absconding or returning is completed.
 Complete site monitor reports as provided for by IETI.
 Report on a monthly basis your findings at the workplaces, and report any challenges that need management’s attention. These findings to be communicated to the client as and when required, through the relevant channels provided for by the company.
 Check that Log books are being correctly completed at sites. In addition check learner files to ensure paperwork is completed correctly and in full, when relevant and as required.
 Provide internal Project administration support and assistance as and when required at the office.

Job Requirements: 

An understanding of Artisan training
Some experience in workplace identification and management
Access to own transport
Ability to work professionally and smartly to handle learner challenges
Some technical understanding in the construction and mechanical industry
