Social Media and Marketing Manager

Combines marketing and social media management skills to create an active company social media presence, including interacting with customers, promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content, and expanding opportunities for revenue.
Works within social media and online marketing platforms to create innovative social media and marketing campaigns.

Duties:

Creates marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, and implementation timelines and schedules.
Ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with company management.
Collects customer data and analyses interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies.
Weekly progress reports senior management
Grows and expands company social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increases presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Google etc.
Researches and monitors activity of company competitors
Creates and distributes engaging written or graphic content in the form of e-newsletters, web page and blog content, or social media messages
Must be willing and able to take photo’s for Social Media platforms as well as arrange and supervise photoshoots if required.

Job Requirements: 

Qualifications:

Degree in Communications or Marketing, 1-2 Yrs. experience with Social Media Management.

Essential Skills:
• Strong computer skills including some graphic design experience for creating online content & adverts.
• Administrator Experience with Managing Social Media Platforms
• A Self-motivated personality that can work pro-actively and without much supervision.
• Experience in Marketing & Content Creation.
• Excellent written communication skills including Copywriting.
• Web Design is a bonus
