Hello... an exciting new opportunity has just become available in our Insure, Claims Procurement area. We are looking to recruit a Specialist: Non Motor (Buildings).
To source, negotiate and Implement all Contracts & Procurement relating to Non-Motor home owner claims in line with the Group's overall purpose and vision. This includes compliance, measuring and reporting on transformation targets, cost and efficiency drivers as well as managing overall customer experience for this Category.
Operational Direction:Implement the Non-Motor procurement strategy in line with Hollard Insure's overall Procurement strategy. Manage suppliers e.g. Builders, Plumbers, Electrical etc
Supplier Selection: Periodic reviews of suppliers, Dispute solution, Rotation of panel suppliers
Reporting: Periodic reporting to relevant stakeholders in line with KPIs/Dash board, Responsible for the submission of the monthly, quarterly dash board, Analyse, identify and investigate unusual items and report accordingly
Decision Making: Make recommendations and take decisions on Procurement functions within mandates while ensuring full compliance to all processes, policies and procedures and identify areas for improvement.
Customer Service: Ensure customers are treated fairly and that TCF management is done in conjunction with the Academy. Maintain a high level of service to customers (internal and external) according to the service standards as set by the company.
Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
At least 5 -8 years Procurement or relevant experience
Claims experience will serve as an advantage
In-depth understanding of the Insurance drivers within the Non-Motor Industry
In depth knowledge of the Non-Motor Industry as far as Procurement is concerned
Working knowledge of the different components within the Non-Motor industry.
Sound understanding of the business of different stakeholder within the Non-Motor insurance value chain.
Sound understanding of regulatory and compliance issues pertinent to the Procurement & Financial Services Industry. BBBEE
Sound understanding of regulatory and compliance issues pertinent to the Building, plumbing and related services Industry
Business acumen, particularly Short-Term Insurance
Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain or relevant equivalent qualification
