Position available in Hyde Park for an energetic Support Technician within a communications and connectivity solutions company. The ideal candidate is someone who wants to be tested, challenged and able to take initiative. Our client believes in giving young individuals room to grow and become successful by assigning responsibility from the start and entrusting them with specific roles to nurture and make their own.

This role will be predominantly a support technician role with the bulk of tasks taking place at the office. But there is a necessity to be out in the field regularly for installations and maintenance and therefore applicants must have their own vehicle.
Email and telephonic support
Troubleshooting and fault resolution with customers
Desktop IT support
First line of contact for field technicians
Hardware configurations – Ubiquiti, Mikrotik, PC’s, PBX, Printers, etc.
VoIP Configurations – Yealink, Snom, Fanvil, Yeastar
Satellite and IT installations
Data capturing
Consumables and stock ordering

Requirements
Critical thinker – Someone who can think and make decisions on their feet. Someone with a solid thought process and capable of quickly understanding ideas and grasping a variety of concepts.
Well-spoken with good communication skills
Quick learner
Be able to take initiative – The environment does not allow for someone that needs to be constantly checked up on and micro-managed
Common sense and good judgement
Willing to go the extra mile
Highly organized and meticulous
Be able to work under pressure
Have the ability to take instructions, formulate a plan of action and implement
