Valuations actuary/consultant

Profit, VNB and reserve calculations for monthly management Reporting Analysis of movements.

Assistance with embedded value calculations, analysis, consolidations and sensitivity calculations.

Statutory solvency calculations, including calculations required for ORSA purposes.

Completing FSB and other statutory reporting requirements (IFRS and SAM)

Preparing annual budgets and other management reporting requirements as required.

Assist with ad-hoc projects Communication of results to senior management

Actuarial degree

Qualified or nearly qualified actuary

Relevant valuations experience is essential

Proficiency in Excel and Prophet

Strong PC skills (especially Excel) are essential Proficiency in DCS will be preferred Good written and verbal communication skills Analysis of results from models Good technical expertise Ability to work well within a team Quality and detail orientation and concern for accuracy Ability to cope with tight deadlines
