To oversee the total Stores function of Samancor in accordance with accepted Policies and Procedures. To control the stores by continuously improve current practices, methods, and processes in a safe manner, in order to provide the required service levels.
To lead the Engineering Team in the safe and cost-effective execution of the Asset Capability Assurance process through clearly defined strategies and objectives for maintenance of plant, equipment & facilities for the site.
The Internal Auditor (CIA) will conduct risk assessment of assigned audits within the established or required timeline. Execute and manage risk based internal audits and consulting projects. Communicate findings to Senior and Line Management and draft comprehensive report for the audited area.
1. Ensuring compliance towards the applicable prescribed legislation related to occupational health, safety and the environmental on site – OHS Act # 85 of 1993, MHS Act # 29 of 1996, etc.
2. Maintenance program setup and update.
3. Time sheets completed monthly to indicate time spent on specific tasks on site.
