Here's what you can expect to be doing in the role

  • Analyse requirements; construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
  • Create functional specifications and system design specifications for smaller user requirement specifications for new features required by clients
  • Involvement in functional / technical design sessions with the development teams
  • Business and systems analysis
  • Problem solving and diagnostic work
  • Take responsibility during the development life cycle to resolve any business-related issues
  • Monitor and provide progress reports
  • Manage the execution and delivery of smaller projects as part of an agile development team

Job requirements: 

A little about who you are 

  • A relevant Information Technology Degree or Business Analysis Diploma
  • A minimum of 2 years business or systems analysis experience in the retail, insurance or healthcare industries
  • A strong understanding of internet / intranet applications
  • Experience of working in an AGILE / SCRUM / KANBAN environment
  • Experience of working within a technical team, interpreting business requirements into solution driven requirements
  • Involvement in functional / technical design sessions with the development teams
  • Programming, UML or pseudocode writing experience would be advantageous
