Job Summary:

Responsible for coordinating the implementation of Corporate Communications campaigns and projects designed to build and enhance Smollan’s brand and positioning to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Internal Communication

  • Support the Regional Communications Manger to create communication campaigns that support the effective delivery of key internal messages
  • Assist with coordinating and managing key internal projects and initiatives such as: wellness, social impact, employee relations
  • Research, write and edit content for a variety of communication materials for various functional areas within the organisation
  • Edit various communication materials for content, grammar, and formatting
  • Work with various individuals on content approval
  • Support the intranet communication strategy and objectives by aligning to key internal initiatives
  • Assist business in standardising and optimising the way information is communicated to internal stakeholders


Events Coordination

  • Manage and coordinate events within the relevant budget allocations
  • Manage long service awards and management review process and events
  • Coordinate employee awards programmes and events
  • Assist stakeholders with event coordination on an Ad hoc basis

Effective team work and self-management

  • Follow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained
  • Demonstrate consistent application of internal procedures
  • Plan and prioritise, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands
