E Commerce Account Manager

Development and management of ecommerce retail accounts

  • Open new accounts with relevant ecommerce retailers
  • Build and manage relationships with buyers in these retailers
  • Effective management of sales:
    • Determine sales targets, develop and implement plans and monitor achievement of targets
    • Discuss implementation of promotions to drive sales and growth
    • Identify declines and flat lines and create plans to address identified areas and grow objectives
    • Negotiate relevant costings and resources for delivery
    • Maintain and achieve new listings

 

 

Establishment and management of client relationships

  • Build and manage relationships with clients providing high standards of client service continually
  • Gain understanding of client needs and ensure that we fulfil these needs in the ecommerce space
  • Become a trusted advisor to clients on their ecommerce business
  • Expand the relationships with existing clients by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Provide leadership and guidance in terms of implementation of best practice execution
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by clients and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Determine and manage client needs and expectations
  • Work with the Growth and Innovation team to identify and win new clients

 

Workflow / Project management

  • Manage all aspects of our clients’ ecommerce implementation. Including but not limited to:
    • Product listing
    • Content creation and publishing
    • Ensure adequate stock holding and management
    • Project management of brand site development and implementation

 

Reporting & insights

  • Develop and compile monthly reports for clients which include:
    • Listings
    • Sales vs. targets
    • Digital merchandising compliance
    • Insights regarding shopper reviews
  • Keep up to date with industry news and developments and share these with clients and internal stakeholders

  • Follow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained
  • Demonstrate consistent application of internal procedures
  • Demonstrate abilities to anticipate and manage change
  • Plan and prioritise, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands

Job requirements: 

Minimum Qualifications:                                         Grade 12

                                                                                            Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous

                                                                                            Driver’s license

Minimum Experience:                                               >3 years in a client facing or sales role
