Product Manager: Innovation


Job Summary:

To work across the business and with the Innovation Team, managing and overseeing the product management lifecycle including, strategy, execution and user feedback on new and existing service offerings.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Product Strategy

  • Set the vision and strategy for service offerings in the company, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Define the service offering strategy by synthesising user and business needs into priorities and translate into detailed requirements
  • Gather and analyse data and business intelligence to inform the creation of a roadmap strategy
  • Create and manage integrated service offering roadmaps that bring service offering solutions to market that meet customer needs
  • Develop service offering positioning and go to market strategy
  • Analyse the positioning of service offerings, pricing, and competitors to identify strategies for differentiation and increased sales and market share


Product Development and Lifecycle Management

  • Manage an agile service offering development process
  • Scope and prioritise activities based on business and customer impact
  • Define and maintain a customer experience plan and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Define the target customer, key competitors, and strategic positioning for new product ideas
  • Conduct pricing analysis through defining the range/applications/target pricing/target gross margin
  • Research and define market requirements for current and future service offerings by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers
  • Drive continual improvements and inform the service offering roadmap with new ideas based on ongoing customer research, market/competitive analysis, and product performance indicators
  • Drive solutions through market requirements, contracts, and positioning
  • Anticipate risks; assess, mitigate, and manage accordingly
  • Enumerate key service offering benefits and positioning, and clearly communicate these to stakeholders
  • Identify, evaluate, and participate in opportunities for portfolio expansion
  • Conduct pricing analysis through defining the range/applications/target pricing/target gross margin



Product Implementation

  • Plan, implement and roll out service offering changes
  • Monitor the implementation of new service offerings or features
  • Monitor the progress of new service offerings
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding around service offerings



User Feedback

  • Collect and analyse feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and service offerings
  • Identify areas for growth and lead service offering optimisation post-launch and incorporate analytics, customer feedback, and market opportunities to (re)prioritize the roadmap
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify, and fill p gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Manage the collection and analysis of consumer and market insights and share findings with Senior Management



Stakeholder Management

  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Understand and communicate market and client needs on a global scale and prioritize service offerings accordingly
  • Manage client engagements as the subject matter expert across multiple markets
  • Validate value proposition through customer engagement
  • Build cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders critical to the delivery of the product portfolio
  • Manage vendor partners to help solve customer and business problems and collaborate Participate in team activities like planning, product demos and reviews

Job requirements: 

Minimum Qualifications: Business Management, Marketing, or other relevant Degree 

Minimum Experience: 8-10  years’ experience in service offering product management
