Objective To be responsible for the contribution towards achieving a successful outcome for Iron & Steel Product related businesses, not only in South Africa but also all over Southern Africa based on the divisions goals as communicated by the GM

Key Responsibilities

To understand all aspects in steel products trading business, such as basic trading word/conditions, contents of contract, characteristics of each commodity, practice in steel industry, market situation of each commodity,  internal rule, etc.

To conduct all required business tasks, such as having meeting with customers to find customer needs, going on business trip to get familiar with customers operation, getting inquiry from customers, receiving the offer from and to negotiate with customer, conclude the contract and implementation thereof.
To maintain and deepen current network and explore new contacts in order to expand the business
To conduct market research by visiting new market and having meeting with new customer and suggest new strategy in order to expand the business
To prepare presentation materials to the customers and periodical reports to management
To manage the relationship with existing and potential customers to develop the business To work closely with Iron & Steel Products Business Unit to develop and drive the execution of relevant business strategy.

 To make necessary arrangements for customers/visitors such as transportation, accommodation, etc.
 To understand and comply with  internal rules
