DevOps Engineer

Qualifications Required:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Proven experience in network integration and deployment automation on AWS and Microsoft Azure, utilizing scripting languages and programming skills, including Terraform.
• Solid experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
• Professional experience in IT security, particularly in network security, cloud security, and Internet connectivity.
• Familiarity with IT service processes (ITIL) and agile working methods.

Advantageous Skills:

• Proficiency in German.
• Knowledge of GitHub and Azure Functions.
• Skills in Python and Java programming.
• Experience with monitoring using cloud-native tools

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop solutions for complex network infrastructure challenges within the network security environment, focusing on efficiency through automation.
• Support global connectivity design for cloud environments, ensuring secure and effective integration (to the cloud, from the cloud, between cloud platforms, and to the public Internet).
• Collaborate with network industry manufacturers, major cloud platforms, and the Network Operation Centre (NOC) to ensure robust network integration and security.
• Apply and adapt existing operating models to future-proof network security solutions and integrate the application landscape into standardized solutions.
