HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
The successful incumbent must have an appropriate Tertiary Qualification plus at least 8 years proven management experience at a Human Resources Manager level in a unionized environment. The appointee will be responsible for providing a comprehensive HR service to the factory based business. Sound HR functional, recruitment and selection, reporting and IR skills are non-negotiables. The role includes employment policy and procedures management. A solid knowledge of relevant legislation encompassing but not limited to Employment Equity, Labour Relations, BCE, Skills Development, Occupational Health & Safety and other related legislation, is essential. In addition, he/she will be tasked with performance management, training and development, succession initiatives, general HR administration, ERP management and employee wellness, amongst other. The position also requires proven track record in Health & Safety management preferably in a factory environment.
